Although I dont get out and airsoft near as often as I'd like, I have a few really good ones...

The first was probably the first match I attended; hooked up with a team called Shadow Viper, drove almost to Black Canyon City.... It was a good day.  The thing I remember most was the adrenaline rush at the beginning of the match when I realized it was on, and there was about to be a firefight lol.  I think I lasted about 30 seconds before jumping in a bad spot and getting shot lol.

The second was probably the time that Spazz and I were down at Skunk Creek, up against a bunch of younger players when he proposed a 2 v. 5 'catch the sniper' match... It lasted an hour and 45 minutes, and ended when Anthony finally rallied all of his team up and pinned us... I particularly remember Spazz sitting behind a huge tuft of grass and bushes trying to figure a way out armed with a sniper rifle and my M92 while 4 kids anxiously stood on the other side of said tuft of stuff, AEG's at the ready... LOL good times!

That's awesome. I remember the first time I went airsofting. I had the worst spring-action M4 in the world, 100% cheap plastic. It was still fun though, I got out so quickly. Spring actions aren't all that bad though. They're so cheap that is so easy to get a ton of people to go.

Playing in a game at Four Peaks, using my custom laylax L96 and ghillie suit. My buddy and I were stalking a group of Tangos at their base. We decided to crawl within 150ft of the camp and do some recon. While on Recon this is how it went down:

Tango 1: I gotta go take a piss guys!
-Walks to a bush about 125ft from me and my buddy
-Starts pissing

Squadmate: Take the Shot!

Me: I shoot, hit him in the lower back

Tango 1: AH SHIT!!
Other Tangos: What?? What happened?

Tango 1: I'm out guys!

-Other Tangos 6 or so go wild looking for where we are
ME: I proceed to shoot out 4 more guys before they even know what direction its coming from.

also this story is so much easier to tell in person but honeslty this was one of the most awesome kills/Stalks I have ever been on. It was totally Metal Gear Solid like to shoot a guy peeing and then take out 4 more guys without them even knowing what him em!

One of my best memories is one my buddies and I have not forgotten. We all had just gotten into airsoft. I was running an old CA M16. There were only 5 of us total. Right off the bat, my team mate was killed. I then spent the next 30 minutes army crawling in the brush being surrounded. My first kill was a knife kill. Quite epic, as Thomas was walking down a dirt road, and didnt notice that i was laying in the ditch. As soon as he passed I ran up behind him, and as he turned around my gun was in his chest.

After I take fire from the other Lee and Greg who witnessed the knife kill. I was able to find a tree line and able to flank and kill Lee who was standing within a tree line, covering the dirt road and dry lake bed. Now there was greg. When I killed Lee, Greg was quick to return fire. I hadnt noticed he was opposite of Lee. After a small fire fight, Greg disappeared. For what seemed like Hours I worked my way slowly and quitely through the brush and trees. I finally made it up to a ridge...then my heart stopped as i see Greg laying on the steep side of the ridge. He hadnt heard nor seen me walk up on him. It was to thick t knife kill him. We were only 5 feet away. So i called out and told him to surrender. Instead he turned and opened up. We both missed...being new i didnt have my hicap winded up so no bbs came from my rifle. Greg quickly runs out of the brush and trying flanking me. Unfortunately for him, i had out flanked his flank, which left him exposed. Another small firefight ensued ending with his death.

Since then we all have been hook on airsoft. Its moments like that that make the rediculous costs of airsoft worth it.

lol soap, i remember that

the most recent one that comes to mind has to be at one of the big zombie events MTT hosted a year or so ago at vanguard. i'm vague on the rules, but you had to keep your melee weapon ON a zombie to prevent the player from getting up and infecting you..

to make a long story short, i was camping a tower with 2 other players. Ron was role playing as a zombie, and made it up the stairs somehow injuring one of the guys in the tower. i had to hold my sword between my legs effectively "teabagging" the zombie to keep him down while covering the stairs with a sidearm and tying an arm band around the wounded player. trololol
see you space cowboy...

·   Rappelling down rock slide alley and timing my rope work to dodge melon sized rocks whipping past my head.

·   Ridding in an M113 while jumping a berm on the way to secure a village and weapons cache.

·   The first use of explosives at an organized airsoft game.

·   Winning the Hatchet Force Team Challenge on two occasions.

·   Running as OPFOR for Marines in official MOUT training exercises.

·   Mikey's rampant cursing as he try's to quickly remove and chuck a beer can that was pierced by a bb before it explodes in his chest rig.

·   The short story of how the ASOV some how unknowingly made its way into a local parade and become a big hit!

·   The good friends made and our many adventures in and outside of airsoft.

I'm gonna have to ask you elaborate on at least one of those lmao come on you are teasing us
I vote for the beer can one

The best memories I can recall at the moment.. gosh i havent thought of this in quite a while lol

An all out nerf football war with about a dozen nerf rounds launching back and forth in the barracks of camp navajo that whom started I'm not sure... Lmao

Practicing cqb in our house with nerf guns. Which ultimately resulted in childish battle of nerf darts..

Paying for new vertical blinds at a team mates apartment.. a lot if them

Hung over Sunday practices oddly enough

Using a smoke grenade for the first time in a game

Most of all the friendships forged.

Ryan is 100%on the money its not the cool kills and the gear and guns its the shared experience with real friends. I've learned more about people here than anywhere else.

It's one of those you had to be there moments, words are hard to describe it but I'll try.

In short, we were attacking/pressing an enemy force as we climbed up a small hill. On our approach the enemy and our foces could not quite see each other yet through the brush and rock formations. Sporadic shooting would occur but when it did, it was tons of rounds whizzing by narrowly over the tops of our heads.  During a lull I was providing cover fire when I heard a "Ting"  behind me, followed by a hissing sound and a bunch of cursing rapidly being dispensed.  I turn to find Mikey kneeling and frustratingly struggling with this pouches, trying to get at this beer can that was quickly spraying beer all over the place reminding me of a severed main artery.  He finally got a hold of it and quickly tossed it away from us like a hot potato all while still cursing up a storm.   The facial expressions on Mikey and near by team members were priceless, lol.

LOL... too funny!

Lol..yeah the first Balkan Hammer has my favorite memories.  That football battle at the barracks... LOL.!!!

AT BH1, I remember riding in the back of the german halftrack being chased by two US humvees with machine gunners on top.  All my fellow comrades in the halftrack sat low to avoid head shots and at the same time, grabbed a hold of me to keep me steady as I leaned over the tail end and returned fire on the machine gunners on the humvees doing about 15-20mph on a rough dirt road.  All I could see was the two humvees swaurving side to side and giant cloud of dust between us and the sound of BBs whizzing past my head and the paths they were making in the dust cloud... it was like an action movie.

The role playing at BH1 was amazing... the downed pilot missions and Mark popping off blanks over your head as you provide cover for your medic to assist the pilot and put him onto the halftrack via stretcher.

Good times...

It was this past summer and me and my friends got smoke grenades to use for airsoft.  Now these are the ones they sell for 4th of July so they send out a lot of sparks when lit.  So I decided to use them in a night match and was on top of a cliff that had a ridge and my team was about a 100 yards behind on a road that was about 30 feet below me along mountain side.
-something like this-
                               /_____me_____
                              /
                             /
    / ___Road____/
   /
  /
 /
/
So at the end of the road the cliff and road meet, I decided to toss a grenade to give my team cover as they approached the end where a fort is being held. So I pull the string on the grenade and toss it over the edge and advanced to the fort.  When I got there somebody told me that I had a nice campfire going on.  Upon hearing this I look around and then over the edge to see that my grenade somehow landed under a large piece of wood about 15 feet long and 5 feet wide and was on top of dry desert shrubs.  I was able to see this clearly in the once dark road because everything in my previous sentence was on FIRE! So I ran around the cliff with enemy fire hitting me and I went and flipped over the large wood sheet before it fully caught while standing in a blaze of fire before everybody else came running and helped me put it out.  So luckily I didn't get any burns and managed to prevent the mountain road getting caught up in the blaze.  So when we were all out of breath and coughing from the smoke we looked at each other, started laughing and decided to never use those things again.
It takes work to know how to live, dying is easy.
