One of my best memories is one my buddies and I have not forgotten. We all had just gotten into airsoft. I was running an old CA M16. There were only 5 of us total. Right off the bat, my team mate was killed. I then spent the next 30 minutes army crawling in the brush being surrounded. My first kill was a knife kill. Quite epic, as Thomas was walking down a dirt road, and didnt notice that i was laying in the ditch. As soon as he passed I ran up behind him, and as he turned around my gun was in his chest.
After I take fire from the other Lee and Greg who witnessed the knife kill. I was able to find a tree line and able to flank and kill Lee who was standing within a tree line, covering the dirt road and dry lake bed. Now there was greg. When I killed Lee, Greg was quick to return fire. I hadnt noticed he was opposite of Lee. After a small fire fight, Greg disappeared. For what seemed like Hours I worked my way slowly and quitely through the brush and trees. I finally made it up to a ridge...then my heart stopped as i see Greg laying on the steep side of the ridge. He hadnt heard nor seen me walk up on him. It was to thick t knife kill him. We were only 5 feet away. So i called out and told him to surrender. Instead he turned and opened up. We both missed...being new i didnt have my hicap winded up so no bbs came from my rifle. Greg quickly runs out of the brush and trying flanking me. Unfortunately for him, i had out flanked his flank, which left him exposed. Another small firefight ensued ending with his death.
Since then we all have been hook on airsoft. Its moments like that that make the rediculous costs of airsoft worth it.
