They are a 'family' of new AEGs. They are weaker than actual AEGs, and are meant for.......you guessed it..boys. They go about 125-180fps. They are making them in the M4A1, L85, AK47, MP5, and a G36 as well as a few others. They run about $50-$90, and are very good for just plinking around.

Paco is correct, they are not full sized.  They also cant take full sized AEG mags because of this (and magazine design possibly). Rick

Kinda pisses me off a little that TM would decide to try and attract a younger crowd...

All Airsoft needs is more bad PR from the "guns kill people, people don't kill people" fellas who complain and cross-dress on a regular basis.

But yeah, I guess it's a little kid's plinker kinda thing that's a bit more expensive than the noise making guns you buy at a dollar store.

Tokyo Marui has publicly stated that it has no intention of ever selling directly to the US.  It has even been stated in some of its literature "Not for sale in the US" or something to that effect.  Airsoft is a different creature in Japan, so it is more ideal for business for TM to introduce such a line there.

The magazine design, by the way, is worse than the most unreliable high-cap you will ever find. You fill the back (hi-cap style) with BBs. You will get about 5 seconds of full auto's worth of BBs before you have to get more BBs into the magazine feed whatever thingy. You got to tip the gun forward, and then raise it back up. Imagine doing that in a fire fight?

It's for Japanese children.  They don't get into "firefights".

Then again, neither do you, sitting behind your computer like that.[:P]

Actually, I've gone to 11 games, I have an AEG. The front receiver is falling off, a gear or 2 are still stripped possibly, its blowing fuses, but DOES have an M120 and metal bushings. I also have a KWC Glock 17, and a few other guns. So :-P. But please, make a foundation.
