I agree with Mace. Let's think about moving this game to four peaks. With the ammount of people that posted up for this game four peaks should be real fun. I am in all the way.

If only there was a way to search for information.....

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=1833+E+Southern+Ave+Tempe,+AZ,+US&daddr=33.623638,+-111.448497&hl=en&ll=33.627341,-111.477585&spn=0.086333,0.181789&sll=33.623674,-111.448633&sspn=0.001349,0.00284&geocode=FYOG_QEdPm5U-SkTrh__gAgrhzE98rgwQeOIyQ%3BFVYOAQIdT25b-Q&vpsrc=6&mra=ls&t=h&z=13

Xavier your map is bogart.  I WILL SAY THIS FOR ALL AIRSOFTERS......DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS WHEN LOOKING FOR AN AO.
Our last combat challenge (Red Dagger II) left us with Google map directions that put us on a POS road that was unpassable after 15+ miles of heavy 4x4 terrain.  This map is even worse.

The way into the AO at 4 peaks is much easier if you take 4 peaks road FR143 heading West and then Turn South on FR 401 to the South.
Note to All:
There are other AO's on USFS land that Team Phantom has utilized in the past for training and 18+ games.   We will be trying to host more games in the future, however this whole issue with posting a local AO on the Forums has shown the retarded power of the Internet.

If anybody is gonna post games on the forums make damn sure you know what the hell you're doing.  If you wanna get some buddies to play together then state exactly what it is you wanna do but don't post a game without being informed and knowing the ramifications of doing so.

Going to an AO once and posting a game for the masses is irresponsible.  This is the kind of BS that will get airsoft banned.  I believe the OP had good intentions with the original post;  but Fuji is a very small locals only kind of place that can't handle more than 20 people without it being a disaster.

Xavier as mentioned we need sticky with USFS rules, Regulations, Previous AO locations.

18+ players on Defined East Valley milsim teams may have their unit leaders PM me with an email for future free games and AO previews, and we will email you when our games are hosted and posted on our boards.  I will try to compile a list of team names and contacts that can help recon some new East Valley USFS AO's.

LOL, yeah, I wasn't looking for driving directions, just the location.  I realized after the fact that it posted the wrong driving directions.

Man, improper use of 60's verbage here!
"Bogart" is to hog something for yourself. "Bogus" is needed.

Four Peaks is too far.. it is actually closer to get to Hatfield or to the Reb.U. games (Depending where you live of course).

But anyway, the fact remains that we need a good location in the SOUTH EAST Valley -- so if/when someone identifies one, please PM me.
I would be happy to go check it out with you. (Printezis@gmail.com)

It takes MONEY to play this game and that includes a vehicle and gas to get there. -Dont have? Don't play, sorry. This Isn't aimed at anyone of us specifically, but it gets tiring to hear the too far to go stuff.

it's not about money.. it's about driving..
This may certainly not be the case for you (and many other people in this forum), but not everyone is willing to drive for 1+ hours, each way, to go play you know!

So, is the game off or something?

Until another larger and likely more remote field is found, i am guessing that yes.

He asked about Four Peaks .. i answered and provided an explanation (in a respectful way)

I didn't see any rules about posting anything regarding distance to games on the forum on your own thread, so if you don't like it, don't read it..

I see nothing positive posted at this point on this thread, so there is no reason keeping it open.
Enjoy your weekend and thank you for the offer.. Maybe one day we can do that.

P.S. I like the "chairsofter", if i could change my nickname to that, i would : )
