Headed out for my first game

I'm off to my first game this weekend - Sunday at Fort Adobe. I'm hoping to lure some other first-timers with me. Anyone else planning to be there? And is there anything I should know about Fort Adobe?

Hmm, if nobody else comes with me to Fort Adobe, maybe I will check out Hatfield instead.

BlackDragon, my guess is you're talking about Fuji Field? That's also a possibility. It all depends on who (if anyone) wants to join me. I can't believe how hard it is to get people to try something fun ...

I went to Fort Adobe with Jeff and Chris the other day (it was a Sunday about two weeks ago) and it was just the 3 of us!! and you have to pay the $20 regardless.
You should try Hatfield if you are North of Phx or Fuji Field is you are South of Phx. There are going to be PLENTY of people there and it is free!

Well, looking at some of the Fuji Field developments over the last day, I'm sticking with my Fort Adobe Sunday plan. Bummer about Fuji. It sounds like Airsoft folk could really put some thinking into new places to play.

I wonder how open people at the Maricopa County Regional Parks would be to helping. Even if they let us use some areas near the washes in some of the parks ...

I'm also curious about the local tribal governments. Their areas would have pretty decent access. There's an abandoned airport just off the I-10 south of the old Compton Terrace area that would be awesome. The tribe had some plans to redevelop it, but that's gone absolutely nowhere.

Since Fuji was a no go post something up for Saturday at hatfield and just see how many say yes?
