Operation: Sayaid (OP: Hunter) - 04 FEB 2012
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:28:25 PM »
Hey all, my team, Desert Combat Operatives, is going to be hosting a game in February. Those who have been around a while know us, as most of the guys in my team have been gaming since 2000.

First and foremost though, this and all games we host will be limited to 18+. Period. We'll be checking ID's at the chrono station. We feel the maturity comes with age, and for the few exceptions out there we are sorry.

Also for questions about cost of this game, this game is free.  IF we charge for our games it wont be for several more games, and that will only be to fund any pyrotechnics we may make for games.  We do not intend to have games for profit, we simply want people to enjoy our scenarios and learn a strong respect for the game and its honor code.

Directions below are courtesy of Tucson Airsoft Coalition, as I have only been to this AO once, if anybody on DC Ops has better directions please modify mine for a proper travel route.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=217782013609216560600.00000111e65a7679ef47b&msa=0

Tucson take I10 west (i-10 east from the valley towards tucson) to to exit 226 at Red Rock. After exiting take a left to go under the freeway. This street ends at a small loop called Camino Correo, take a right hand turn, your next left is East SASCO road, take that turn and follow it for several miles. The road will continue straight until it turns into dirt. Follow the dirt road through the washed out river area (CAUTION: you may have to park and walk from here if the water is too high and your vehicle cannot clear it). Once past the river area continue until you see ruins on your right. Turn right and your there.

We're not a professional organization. We aren't out here to make money. Its a free game, so no prizes. If people donate either money or items to raffle off, we'll be glad to do so.

In the future, to cover the future expense of props we might charge a small fee and also include a raffle of some sort in the process, but for this one, we pooled our money and bought our own props to make it a fun event and to get people interested in other types of game play other than just MOUT/CQB.

EDIT: 10 people have RSVP'd so far. Feel free to PM me or post here if you plan on attending. Game is still almost 4 weeks out, so I know many cannot plan that far out. This early, looks like it should be a good attendance.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. So there are two teams, UN and PLFP and UN is split up into multiple different forces?

I will be there with ermoser and Mozer_Wildcat. All three of us will be PLFP forces. Tri-color desert camo, shemaghs..... You mentioned PLFP use soviet block weapons, but we don't have any. I hope this is fine.
