anyone been to disruptive paintball?
« on: December 23, 2011, 04:37:35 PM »
I was looking on google for fields to play at, and saw disruptive paintball has airsoft fields. I wanted to know if anyone has been there, and if it was a good field to play at. It seems like a fun place.

From what I hear it isn't that great. Definitely not for mil-sim. For paintball maybe it's fun. I haven't been though.....

Every place has some sort of fps limit.375 for aeg's at the big games. That's what my guns shoot at and they are good for the paying fields except vanguard.

Disruptive paintball is notorious in Tucson for being the speedball-paintsoft group. Alot of people start out there, which is fine, but some don't ever leave because they don't want to branch out at all. Not Mil-Sim, not really worth the money, and not great when it comes to maturity of players.

the only reason i was thinking there was because I never really have do ne any milsim, mostly because i only own 3 hicap mags, and most milsims require standard, midcaps, lowcaps, or drum/box mags. It just never fit my equipment.

Ditch those highcaps and pick up a box of mag brand mags or king arms mid caps if you want to go full mislim. Most of the games planned for the weekend like Hatfield or Fightertown don't care if you use high caps or mid caps but big events tend to. Try heading out to some of the free games on the weekends and use the high caps while you look for mid caps. Always keep an eye on the for sale threads for gear and things you are looking for. If you do live out in Gilbert or Mesa area as I do then most of the free games and big games will be a bit of a drive. Just a heads up.
