Don't fix it if it's not broken! If you don't want to increase the FPS, there is no reason to put a stronger spring in it. If your not putting a stronger spring in it, there is no reason to put a high torque motor in it.
The ONLY thing I would recommend to change is to put a Tight Bore Barrel and a good hop-up bucking on it. This will increase accuracy, and effective range.
Putting a Red Dot sight on it isn't a bad idea, but personally, I just use the Iron Sights. Once you get familiar with your weapon, you may end up just holding the gun to your cheek and shooting. I hardly even pay attention to my Iron Sights anymore, and I find it takes too long to get on target with a Red Dot, much quicker to just look down along the barrel and aim that way. But this is just opinion, some people find it very beneficial to use a Red Dot. So I'd say start with a really cheap one, see how you like using it, then upgrade later on when it gets shot out.
Get a Smart Charger! You don't want to be that guy that shows up to the game and it turns out his battery isn't charged all the way, or you accidentally overcharged it, and you start asking everybody around if they have a battery charger. Nobody likes that guy.
Then pick a battery that fits you, a good quality battery will last longer. And I ALWAYS bring at least 1 extra battery to every game. The higher the mAh rating, the longer the battery will last on one charge. The higher the voltage, the faster the motor turns, which in turn increases your Rate of Fire (how many bb's per second). So, find a VOLTAGE that fits you, then find the Largest mAh rating battery in that voltage that will fit in your gun.
Then I'd recommend putting Deans plugs on your gun, batteries, and charger. Deans plugs provide a much better connection between your battery and gun. They have less resistance, and higher amperage capacity, which in turn increases how long your battery lasts, and puts less strain on your motor, as well as increasing its ROF due to no voltage drop through the connector. If you are not good at Soldering, just ask somebody on here to do it for you, or take it to Gearbox and have them do it for you. It won't cost that much to do, and you'll save yourself headache down the road.
