Q: Where is the AO?
Answer: The facility is located just north of the city of Florence, AZ. It is no secret where its located. It is just across Hwy 79 from the weapon ranges of the National Guard base.
Q: What are the FPS limits going to be?
Answer: First off, all weapons will be chrono'd with .25 gram bbs.
AEGs - 375 FPS (includes automatic rifles and support weapons, SAWs)
Sniper Rifles - 500 FPS (semi-auto ONLY, must follow 75ft "no engagement distance"). This rule means that sniper rifles will not be allowed for use indoors - it is recommended to carry a pistol for back up.
For safety, there will be a semi-auto (single shot only) rule in effect for this event for any action that takes place indoors. This also means that any full-auto only weapons like SAWs, or similar machine guns will not be allowed for use indoors - so support gunners may want to carry a pistol back up.
Q: What are the magazine restrictions?
Answer: Winding Hi-caps (flash mags included) are not permitted. If it uses a winding spring to push the bbs up, you cannot use it. Only support weapons may use box or drum style magazines. The goal and the spirit of the rule is to maintain realism. "Mid", "Low", and "Standard" cap magazines are okay.
If you are not sure, ask. Violators of this rule will not be allowed to play with out the proper equipment.
Box mags are permitted on SAW type weapons.
Q: Im under 18, can I attend this event?
Answer: No, but you can attend if your parent is playing along side you at the event.
Q: Are Bioval glass BBs allowed for use?
Answer: No. Test have shown they are damaging to glass windows even at velocities below the limit. This would be bad for the vehicles in play.
