Face it, you're SOL if you don't have a car and cash to get there.
Good thing about it though, keeps the kids away.

But kids are fun to play with--you don't have to lead them as much.

Move closer to town.

Setup a LEGAL ao near you.

Drive to the AO's.

or when all those fail give up airsoft because you don't have the money or am too lazy to drive.

IMO give up..

There is a reason why we are telling you to man up and accept the fact that you will have to drive way out to play. Land that is legal to play on tends not to be near where people live or do business, I mean who wants to be just walking down the street minding their own business and getting zipped in the face by a airsoft gun?

I live in north Scottsdale and drive out over 40 minutes to play. It's not as bad as you think :)

I live in west phoenix and it takes an hour minimum to reach the closest field on the freeway.

Consider yourself lucky.

Good thing about it though, keeps the kids away.

Or teenagers with money to pay people to drive them.

Honestly i don't see a problem with people asking to see if there is any fields or places to play that are closer.

I'm sure most of you are upset because you don't see the big deal in driving that far away for something fun but some people just don't want to drive that far.

I think it's a simple question and we are attacking him for no reason. I would also like to know if there is any closer to the Tempe area. But i am still willing to drive a hour or more for games.

To sum it up, there are none inside city limits because of laws and property regulations.  There is a stickied post in General Airsoft Game Discussion with officially recognized AOs here.  There are a few others out there not on that list because they are on either BLM land or Forest Svc (such as Oak Flat).

The question just gets rehashed, and it is highly recommended to watch that thread for any additional fields.
