ICS MP5 not working??
« on: March 17, 2012, 08:08:54 PM »
So i recently was able to borrow a friends battery to test out my ICS MP5 that i havent shot in awhile.
for some reason it wouldnt fire and the battery and fuse area would just get really hot. Not sure what the problem is but im thinking its the fuse, but then on the other hand it could be the motor???
If any of you know's what the problem is please let me know! thanks.

if the wiring and battery get hot when you cennect the battery its lickly a short in the wiring.

if it gets hot when you pull the trigger, its jammed or the motor took a dump. take it somwehre have them look at it for ya

Try a different battery (stronger one), if that doesnt work then your gearbox is jammed by the anti-reversal latch most likely.

or haha bring it to me and it'll get fixed in 5 mins

it sounds like its jammed, Like he said try a different battery, somtime when batterys sit for a while with a charge they can kinda.. degrade them selfs, So then it wouldnt have the balls to pul the spring over, to me sounds like battery lock.

Unless it makes a sparkey.. like electrical noise when you pull the trigger

Hehe this is too funny. I bought the other mp5 from you and just found out that you dont even have a fuse in this one. It was just connected together. Also find out the guns true rating on the battery pack. Some put out more juice than the motor can handle which can cause the motor to fail as well as overheat and so on so forth.
