OMG DONT GET ME STARTED! I LOVE my SR10! Absolutely the best gun I've ever owned. Out of the box it shoots amazingly and has great range. 15/10 my friend on that gun. Plus I've pimped mine out to look pretty cool.
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

thank you for that. I know its not the absolute best, but it seems pretty nice for right out of the box. It is going to be my first gun, and I've done a lot of research...

anyone else?

oh and if you have pictures of your setup maybe show in here as well?

very nice setup.

That seems to be what mine will most likely look like after I assemble it. Except the flashlight, I will most likely get a sight I saw with a laser option, FL, and scope.

I am liking the things I hear about this gun and hope it will be a good choice to get me into playing right away!

The only upgrade I'd drop in right when you buy it would be a 6.01 tight bore. After that pretty much no upgrade is needed.

I'd disagree.  While the EDGI barrel did improve the accuracy, I'm really not sure it was enough to justify the cost.

in all of my trials and... errors here in the desert, id recomend the .03 over a .01

there just too tight, specially here, wheres theres dust everywhere you go..

i just found the .03 to be more accurate after using it the whole day, .01 would Piss me off and make me throw my guns into the bed of the truck.... litterally..
with the .03 im happy all day

thats just my personal oppinion though

Here's mine....

I love this thing to death.  It's kind of over-engineered, but I can't really complain because it's solid as a rock.  The only aftermarket parts I have on it are a 10.5" Noveske barrel, Noveske KX3, MBUS sights, and a 6.01mm Masamune tightbore.  With regards to the previous inner bore discussion, I actually think the gun is more accurate with the short 6.01 barrel than the stock KWA 16 incher.  Keep it clean and it'll treat you well.

The real question you need to ask your self is can you work on aegs? Or do you know someone who can cleaply. If so I'd say go G&P they are a little easier to work on and hands down outsides look better. Even kwa owners and anyone with 20/20 can see while kwas look great g&p is better. I own a sr10 and I find it funny that people dont know the barrel is removeable after the gas block so no need to buy another barrel. I put a real m120 spring in it. Ported piston head and 6.03 tbb. Stock the sr10 will net about 380-390 on .2 which will be 335-345 on .25 which is on the low side for me
