West Hatfield?
« on: March 26, 2012, 11:18:17 AM »
Just wondering if anyone has found out more info on the legality of playing at the west hatfield location, and if it is legal are we going to start having games there again?  I know we tried it once and it was pretty good.

See, I was coming here today to ask exactly this myself. So it's not a case of XavierMace just deleting threads before I see them because the field is off-limits, they're just not posting threads and keeping games on the down-low. That's what I thought.

I don't believe they are keeping it down-low. For i play with them all the time and i was told different. they are still trying to figure out the whole thing plus no game as been posted bcuz there are so many different things going on this month that there was really no time for a game at hatfield..

Saguaro hasn't had any invite only games as a few of us are still trying to find out for ourselves if it is ok to play there and what is needed to play there. With all the great games going on lately we haven't even thought about Hatfield but once we all figure out when and how we want to run a game we will post it up.

Whenever it gets up and running, send me an invite, i'd love to go. Max has been asking me like crazy for updates on it.
Don't try to argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to thier level and beat you with experience.

If you guys would like to look into the land for yourself by all means you are welcome to. Don't wait for Saguaro to look into it. The team has been busy with other games going on this month and games coming up in the next few months. Once Saguaro feels comfortable hosting another game out there we will for sure put it up and run the games. For now, we aren't too worried about it.

We had a good outing this past Sunday. About 30 people attended. No issues with the neighbors, other than some of their kids watching the games from up the hill. Marked the boundaries to make it clear where the field is.

A couple of us have independently verified with BLM that we're good to go as long as it isn't an organized event. We understand that to mean no pay events, but hobbiest activities like what we do are fine.

The field is good. Definitely better than the original Hatfield, as it is today, anyway.

So, keep your eyes open and your ears peeled for the next Hatfield West game. You'll be glad you did.
