One of my friends recommended checking into some abandoned prison somewhere around Phoenix.  She doesnt know where it is or anything, she'd just heard that it was abandoned and supposedly haunted lol.

I don't care if it's haunted it would only add to the eerieness and the overall experience.

Yes, it's all a locational issue though.

Which is a major problem in airsoft today, and why we continue to hear so many stories in the news about people getting injured because they airsofted in public, well excluding the idiocy of someone who would do that.

I remember talking to this one guy (He was a office guy for a shipping factory) who said he and his buddies, on the weekends, would go into the factory (that was partly underground) and paintball all day long. That would be awesome. Try for a warehouse, seal the windows, then we can do whatever on the inside, while being sealed from public intrusions.

Well it looks like this idea might have to be out on hold until I can secure a better Opsite.

So here's a pitch to you for now, "The Korean War: Operation America",

The year is 2024, the United States economy has been suffering for years under major budget constraints. A new arms race with Putin-led Russia has driven America broke. Initially, cuts were made to Social Security, education, healthcare, but the military was still left funded. One day though, the paychecks stopped showing up, and six months later, it was clear that the Federal Government was just a hollow shell, and the pay would not be coming. The country went into disarray, not only were 30 million government employees were now unemployed, major revolts on many military bases has kept the few remaining loyal remnants of the US Military extremely busy.

On the other hand, over the past 12 years, North Korea had been doing extremely well. With their new, Western Educated, head-of-state, the country had been making successful economic reforms. They solved their famine crisis, subsidized many farming operations, and began importing foreign labor from China and Russia to work on many high-tech, often military related, contracts.

Korea also began stretching that new military might, forcing the abdication of South Korea in multi-national talks, where America, unable to afford defending it's ally, had to submit to a humiliating peace treaty which returned South Korea to the North, in return all US military personal and Americans were evacuated from the country. It wasn't long though until the now United Korea began an effort to capture Japan, by blockading all imports, and starving the country into submissions, installing a puppet-government.

Now, the DPRK has its sights set on the United States itself.

The boats are landing, they have boots on the ground, what will you do about it?

"The Korean War: Operation America" is planned (read - this is all in the VERY early stage of planning) to take place in late Summer in Prescott, and will feature a variety of factions, both neutral, friendly, or hostile to the North Korean invaders, from the average civilian, to possible Russian, or even United Nations support. Depending on the actions of the players, alliances will shift, treaties made and broken, HVTs uses being left up to commanders (is it better to trade him back to the enemy for POWs, get intel out of him, or simply return him to the FOB).

>2024
>Putin still president of the Russian Federation

As predictions of future world leaders go, this one seems pretty legit.

Anywho, it sounds like a game with a lot of potential for having spies and traitors integrated in with each team, which is always a fun dynamic. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
