That depends entirely on how much you shoot.

I like to have 2 batteries on me, and 2 cans of gas, just to be sure on each. Better to have it and not need it...

Depends on the mAh too..... My 5000mAh lipo lasts a typical 8am-3pm game and still has plenty of charge at the end of the day. But I'm thinking of switching to smaller 1600mAh batteries that will fit in my handguard, and I might buy three.

And for the sidearm? I usually end up using only a couple of mags at each event, and that's only when it's one of those situations when I'm pinned down and almost out of ammo. I've been to events where I never even pull my sidearm out of its holster. I don't bring much gas lol.

Really depends on the event and your play style, for example at every LC I've gone to I've always brought way more batteries and ammo on my person than I would ever use. LC usually mandates mid caps only for anyone that's not a support gunner so it tends to make players more conservative. But at pick up games at places like Fighter Town there are no mag restrictions, you're only limited by how much ammo you bring.

I can get through a large OP with my 1600mah 9.6v battery. I usually only shoot about 500-900 rounds though. A good rule of thumb is 1mah to 1bb.

Always bring one or two extra batteries.

I use 5000mah all day and run the shit out of it.
