OP: Lion Claws XI May 25-27 Victorville CA
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:33:42 AM »
Please see the LCXI official forums for all your 'Official Q&A' and to register for the event.  I am just providing this information for those who don't have their finger on the pulse of the series or are new to it. Its the same AO as last year and is worth the drive and every dime of the registration if you enjoy Milsim over speed-soft.

*also be mindful of the age restrictions. 18+ with some minors being excluded under special circumstances.

Arizona traditionally runs a Bravo Company in Woodland Uniforms.  I know we have a few slots left on the Arizona platoon so note if you want to be with the rest of the Arizona guys when you sign up and they will route you to the rest of us.  As of last count over 500 slots were taken up with a max of 600 slots being available so you have to act fast.  It's and $80 deposit when you sign up with the remainder being due by May 4th.

I imagine the remaining space will be full within the next 1 to 2 weeks.  If your interested you may want to make it a high priority since they don't often have any space leftover for registration closer to the event.

You guys have fun without me, no airsoft event will ever be worth $200 plus travel expenses plus lost wages (I work weekends) in my book unless it ends with complimentary steak and hookers.

But that's me.

If they hold one here in AZ, I might just show up. But travel expenses and lost pay due to days off in addition to the entry fee... that puts me into "I could buy a new AR-15 and case of ammo" territory.

Ha, I use my vacation time when I go... so it's like I'm getting paid to play LOL.  There are many great airsoft events that take place throughout the nation and they are costly... but its an airsoft experience you will never forget.  There are other OPs that are not all weekend long and some are somewhat closer.

hmm..luckily I have already purchased those things.  ;)

it's much more than just "an airsoft game". also..the fact that its not in arizona only makes it more appealing for me personally.

That's a lot of ammo, then. ;)

But in any case, I think this might be one of those scenarios in which ignorance is bliss, and bliss is a heavier wallet.
