Ages 18+ Only NO Exceptions

Destination AO: DustBowl

APRIL 13th
LOCATION CHANGED PM PARADOX

Time: 1900hrs Move out to AO at 1930 BE ON TIME. It's almost 30 minute drive from Chandler...

To minimize injuries try and follow the following.
375FPS w/.25's
** Semi Automatic ONLY!
** No jeans/t-shirts/shorts, at least try to dress the part
** No tennis shoes. Boots only. You don't know what nail you're stepping on because you can't see it!
** Bring two chem sticks: one Orange/Yellow one of a Blue/Green color. (Used to divide teams) (Dicks Sporting goods sells them cheap)
** RED CHEM STICK FOR DEATH or RED LIGHT
** Flashlight! Tape it to your gun if you have to.

Now for the recommendations...
** Tracer units
** NVG's
** Bag o' fun
** Full face mask or mouth guard

Absolutely under no circumstance may someone BLIND FIRE. There will be no excuses you will be asked to leave on first occurrence.

Game Scenarios
** Aliens vs. Marines to start
** Attack and defend (One team will defend a bio nuclear gel - "Chem stick in a 2 liter")
** CTF (Glow stick Flags)
** Protect and Extract
** (Deathmatch with Unlimited respawn while your Medic is alive.)
** Defuse Bomb ( The bomb used at Cold Burn II )

Post up if you are attending, and how many in your party.

These are normally REALLY fun games just ask anyone who has attended one in the past.

If you registered GREEN/BLUE that doesn't mean you will be on that team. Bring both a green/blue chem stick and a yellow/orange one.

Oooh this looks tempting. I've never been to Dustbowl. What does the AO look like?

Terrain is completely flat all of the way to walking distance to the AO.  The side of the "bowl" is a bit rough for a lot of cars.  I always left mine at the top of the bowl and either walked down or somebody played ferry.

The AO is a really neat area. It is inside of a pit that is just carved out of the ground. The surrounding walls go up about 100 feet. Hence the Dust BOWL name. However due to recent events the night game will not be using the outer walls for fear of someone being injured. I fell off a section last game we did. It was a 15 foot fall right onto my back. Though that wont be an issue again. We just wont use the side  walls for game play. The entire area is about 200 yards. Lush with vegetation and lots of barricades.

Sounds like a really neat ao. Count me in. Hadelraven will also be there if he fixes his scar.

Watch for the buzz tails, its that time of year.  I have seen 4 in the past 2 weekends just airsofting.  Wish I could make it, really dig this AO but I got my bachelors party that night and wedding the next morning and I don't think Nikki's dad is spry enough to drag out to something like this...  Have fun and be safe!

Funny thing is my wife's sisters birthday party is that Friday night. I don't intend on going to it obviously. Also, I don't intend on going to a party with a bunch of drunk dumb college students who are playing dress up. That's right it's a themed party.....  The theme being "love"... Shoot me.  Do you see what you are getting yourself into? This is married life. Have fun putting up with the In laws haha.

Ok on a serious note I have 10+ so far confirmed for this.

That might not appeal to you, but as a stressed engineering student, a theme party doesn't sound too bad to me  ;)

Sounds like we will have a smallish squad on squad game then. I'm pumped.

Typically about 20 people show for these. It ends up being a really fun time. Especially with all the tracers, it's cool to watch when a fight breaks out.
