marui psg-1 with classic army g3 metal body?

is it possible to take a marui psg-1 and use a classic army g3sg1 metal body in place of the plaastic body that normaly comes with the psg-1?

I have a psg 1 if ypu want to try I know forure you would need the ca gearbox

can u put all externals on a ca g3 from a marui? stock, outer barrel handgaurd etc minus the body?

Ive handled the gearboxes and shells before of both guns, with some handy machine / dremel work I've no doubt you could make it work.

That being said, CA did modify the design of their metal bodies at some point too. Earlier models required you to split open the upper receiver, current ones do not. The internal differences between each generation are unk. to me, as well as WHEN they switched designs. I just know that they did at some point.
