Hi there everyone.
This is Kurtis from Amped Airsoft. We were actually just checking out our hits on our review site and saw that this topic was active haha. I just wanted to stop in and answer any questions you may guys may have about the ORGA barrel and/or PolarStars.
As far as the ORGAs go, I personally used to run the following barrels:
Prometheus 300mm 6.03mm Barrel
PDI 509mm 6.01mm Barrel
PDI 375mm 6.01mm Barrel
PDI 375mm 6.05mm Barrel
I heard of ORGA's barrels and decided to get three of them to try out a couple months ago. Upon swapping them, I noticed an increase in overall accuracy and performance. A week later I signed on with them and became the first retailer in the US to offer them.
We currently highly recomemnd them and have sold quite a few. Customer reported similar results and were very happy with the barrels. I tend to only want the best in my personal guns if that says anything about their performance.
Now I am not saying that the PDI 6.01s or other barrels are inferior to the ORGAs, but they do have overall more accuracy with the same range. They do however travel to their target slower due to the FPS loss... however, since I am using P*s for this type of platform, I can adjust the nozzle to make up for this difference making them a very awesome force to be reckoned with on the field haha. The people we play with are now to a point where they go the opposite way when they hear our guns from a distance... sorta sad. :-/ haha. My CQBR setup that I am running for outdoors is producing 420 FPS at 120 PSI on a silver nozzle with my current setup. As you can see I am able to compensate for the FPS loss by utilizing different nozzles.
Anyways, I definitely recommend the ORGAs and I also recommend using .40s in any P* setup for the best performance.
My personal P* setups run the following:
Prowin Hop Unit (Used to run Prometheus Units)
Prometheus Soft Bucking
FireFly Flat Nub (Used to be H-Nub)
ORGA 6.23mm Barrel
Currently we are working with P* to produce a part that will hopefully allow us P* users get more range when using higher FPS... just waiting for them to give me a prototype of the part.
