To all the threadjackers. If somebody hosts a game and you don't agree with the format. It's pretty simple....Don't go! That's why I don't attend zombie games and Vanguard lock ins. I sure as hell don't feel the need to beef on the people that organize or attend the games, it just aint my cup of tea.
The fact that a group who has hosted multiple free games in Arizona in the last couple of years are trying something different and outside of the normal shouldn't offend anybody. Has anybody ever even tried to host something like this too see if and how it might change tactics and engagement distances? People can talk all the sh*t they want but if those who want to attend are aware of the FPS and are over 18 they are making the choice to attend. If you have never seen what a bb can do to a tooth well then I can verify that a clear spring gun that shoots under 200fps can take out a tooth pretty easily as I've seen happen.
I used to race motocross, and downhill mountainbikes. I've seen team mates break their necks and femurs. I've had multiple stitches, sprains, concussions, and tweaked, scraped and scarred 3/4 of my body. It was part of the game, and I didn't f**cking complain at the guys who hosted the races.
Even at low FPS you still stand the risk of getting bloodied up. If you can't take the heat...get outta the kitchen. Some people would be better off with water polo instead of airsoft.
If you don't like the rules for this game go find an AO and host your own games. Arizona needs more quality free events.
For the record I won't be attending this game due to schedule conflicts, and didn't really get involved in the rules or organization of the event but if you have a problem with it please don't attend so those that are willing to wear appropriate protection and try something different can experiment with it, and enjoy the game without a whole bunch of drama. If you want to threadjack theres a pony post.
