KWA usp
« on: May 22, 2012, 09:59:24 PM »
Im thinking of getting one. I have heard great things about them. I will use it actually as a primary for CQB at Vanguard. I dont know if there under 330 fps though. This would be first legit GBB pistol and I really want to make the right choice. I also cant chose between the usp or usp compact. im thinking since it will be a primary most likley the full size one? So if you have any experience with kwa usp or usp compact tell me if it would be a good gbb.

If you are planning on using a pistol only at vanguard, be sure to invest in lots of mags. they go by quick and steadily.
I use to airsoft, then I took a BB to the knee.

I have a bunch of kwa and marui glocks and have had nothing but one problem after another. My latest purchase was the KWA Usp and this thing has been great. Never had a single issue and range accuracy way better than the kwa glocks and almost comparable to marui glock.
I wish I had just gone with the USP first and never started playing with the PITA glocks
I have found that three mags is plenty for a round at vanguard.

Would you possibly sell one of the glocks?

My experience is mostly positive, despite the tons of things I don't like about the gun (I find it's easier to review the things I don't like so that I know what to look for if I need something new).

Quality and reliability are not too bad, as far as airsoft replicas go. The ability to decock the hammer is useful but adds complexity (mechanically speaking). After a year of use, the decock / safety lever has no tension on it, so it just rotates freely (but it still works)

The proprietary rail system is a huge middle finger from H&K because they had to be different. The placement of the mag release is also a huge dick up... because H&K suck and had to be different >:/

I dislike the complexity of the DA/SA trigger and the external hammer. I prefer striker-action trigger systems, but for what it's worth, the USP is a good pistol for airsoft.

I love the two I have.  Haven't had any issues with the decocker's yet but then again I'm not one of those people that has to play with it all the time (not saying you did Simo).

I did do some research and found that The usp compact is around 330fps but what about the full size?

One of the guys on the team has the full size he loves it. He  drops it in the dirt kicks it around and it still works great and has good range for what it is.

Decent guns, I had the full size Tactical a while back. A bit big for me as far as pistols go, and finding proprietary holster for it can be a bit difficult.
