Fightertown request
« on: May 23, 2012, 11:23:34 AM »
The State of Az and the owners of Speedworld have requested that only biodegrable bb's be used at Fightertown.  I explained this has been requested in the past and I'm positive everyone is using them.  Thanks for everybodies support.

That seems to be a one way road. What actions are paintballers taking? I have no problem with the rule, enviromental protection is a big thing,  just curious.
I use to airsoft, then I took a BB to the knee.

Paintballs are 100% biodegrable.  Its not a one way road.  Everyone plays by the same rules.  It takes about 3 days to a week for a paintball to totally disappear.  Ive even seen people eat paintballs, not recomended but it is safe to do.

I'm sorry to doubt, I didn't know it was biodegrable paint.

I don't get why all airsoft BBs aren't 'biodegradable'. Why not just make it the industry standard, saving everyone lots of money, rules, and confusion?

Because the true Bio BB's (ones that actually degrade in a reasonable amount of time) suck.  A lot of the "Bio" BB's are just degrading in like 50 years rather than 75.
