echo1 troy m4
« on: June 03, 2012, 09:23:11 PM »
Iv been looking around online for a new m4, and came accross the echo1 troy m4. I saw that it was 400 fps out of the box and cqb length. Exactly what I'm looking for. Also says it has a pretty decent range up to 170 feet. If this gun actually puts out the fps and range the website says it does. If anybody owns one of these currently or has has previous experience with one? Anything you would change?. Pro's and con's of this perticular weapon?. The link below is the gun I am refering to.
Thanks to all who reply.

i think the fps is too big for the length since cqb fields fps limit is 340-360.  and i think the ris is bit too small ( at least for my taste ) so yea i would keep looking if i were u
When in doubt, swag it out =3

To my knowledge isn't fps limits at vanguard somewhere around 320 or so?...and the size of the RIS doesn't bother me. I perfer small compact guns. Appretiate the opinion tho.

So all in all you were satisfied with it? How are the groupings, ROF, FPS consistency all that good stuff?

the rate of fire is great if you feed it the juice it needs. the accuracy and range are pretty good

the customer i built it for is extremely happy with it and hasn't asked about increasing accuracy or range.

fps consistency was great but, every gun i work on has great consistency after wards.

its been 4 months sence i worked on it, hes running an 11.1 25c lipo in it. and it hasnt had a hiccup or anything yet.

internally its a great build out of the box

only thing he didnt like was that they made it seem like it was metal bodied when it first came out. Its not. its got ABS receivers but its still a pretty danm solid gun

look for a max amps 10.8v nunchuck, or just get a low c rated 11.1 lipo, like a 10 or 15c
