Replica Serpa/Safariland holsters?.
« on: July 19, 2012, 03:30:16 AM »
Hey, I was wondering if you guys could direct me to a website that sells replica Serpa or Safariland holsters? I need a hokster for Airsoft only and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a holster, especially when I'm only using it for Airsoft. I don't want a dropleg platform, just something to go on my duty belt.

Thanks.
-Nate

The real steel serpa for the duty belt isnt expensive. I have a replica and the real thing, and if you just want level 2 retention on a duty belt the real steel one is not expensive and is much stronger.

I'm just looking for replicas. Even $35 is too much for me right now, I'm just trying to find one for the cheapest possible.

I did a quick search at one of the overseas stores I buy stuff from, the difference is going to be like $10, but factor in shipping and the time it takes to get to you and you may as well just buy the real deal.

Get the real SERPA.  It might be a little more expensive, but I had 2 or 3 clone holsters break on me within a span of 5-6 months, so I went and bought the real deal.  Much better construction, better retention, and I've had mine for almost 2 years now.  I'm not very nice to my holsters, but I've run it in nearly every airsoft game I've played since I bought it, and it still holds up like a champ.  Real or fake Safariland is going to be out of your price range regardless, and the fake stuff isn't great (even for the price).

If you want cheap- look on eBay or backpage and get a used one.

Or look into getting a Fobus holster or something similar. Not as good quality, but you're not depending on your life with that holster...

You're not going to save a ton of money on a replica. And chances are you'll pay an insane shipping rate. Go used or pony up.
