Benefit Charity Event for Gearbox's RON BILODEAU

As some or many of you may know, Gearbox owner Ron has recently been diagnosed with an unfortunate disease. He will be undergoing treatment over the next year and his family is in need of support. Who better to help than the local Airsoft Community?

We will be taking advanced registrations as of tonight. The teams will be designated by age for the event.

Marauders Tactical Training will be hosting the games at the benefit event.  Games will include:

SPEC OP vs Insurgents
Bomb Tech Game
Terminator Survival
Executive Protection Mission (Kill Justin Bieber!)
Low Light Missions
Zombie Survival

Each game will last 10 - 15 minutes.

Come have some fun while helping raise money for Ron's recovery.

vip-vangaurd: you may not have been around long enough to know this, but ron has been a cornerstone in the airsoft comunity all across the valley for well over 10years. not just the east valley.
 i will be doing my best to attend his event.

what will be the age groups for the teams

Age groups will be as follows:

16+ (Group 1)
15 and under plus parents or guardians (Group 2)

Groups will alternate missions.  All groups will get the chance to play all missions at least once.

MTT thanks the staff of Vanguard Indoor Playground for hosting the benefit event for Ron.  Through the donations of the sponsors and contributions of all the great players who came out, VIP collected close to $3000 ($2955 at close of Silent Auction) for Ron's family. 

Great job to all the players and volunteers who made the night safe and fun.  Usually coordinating a group of 60 plus players is quite stressful for our team.  However, last night the majority of the players remembered who the event was helping directly and it showed in their sportsmanship.

While Marauders Tactical Training will not be hosting another game like this any time soon, Havoc War Games will be hosting the next benefit game in December at The Sand Box.

A silent auction benefitting Ron and his family will be added to Black Hawk Down: Battle of Mogadishu on Oct. 7 at Fighter Town.
