As long as you have something other than tennis shoes. Hiking shoes work.

I tried to work with Phantom privately, but didn't get anywhere, so I'm going public.  I do not think that this is a wise idea, the area that this event is being held in is not safe to be running around in at night with toy guns.  I cannot go into details, but I am a LEO in the area and am privy to what goes bump in the night out there and I don't think it's smart to 'soft out there.

Well they have been playing there for sometime now for night games. So I don't see the problem! If thing go bump in the night I guess we just have to bump back harder!

It's a perfectly legal area to play and besides it's in a big pit. We have and a lot of others have been playing there for 5+ years now.

Yea, we've been playing night games there for a few months now. We saw a car come over the opposite hill, but they turned right around and left.

Paradox, I realize that you're not worried about legal issues.  As I told you already, that's not my concern.

I also realize that nothing has gone wrong, otherwise it would have made the news like the shooting a few months ago in the same area: http://www.pimasheriff.org/bulletins/deadly-shooting-in-eagle-ranch-near-eloy-arizona-leaves-two-dead./  I am not saying something will happen.  I am just warning everyone that it is not safe to airsoft out there.  Why risk it for a game?

Perhaps we should cancel all games near Yuma as well as any out near Tucson?  We could also include SASCO while we are at it, since there have been problems there before.

You're implying more than I'm saying ... I cannot speak to other areas of the Arizona- Mexico border, I don't have specific knowledge of those areas, whereas I do have specific knowledge of the Toltec area.  And no, I would not hold a night op at Sasco.  That said, I'm not going to go round with you guys on this.  I've put out my warning.  Be safe.

I understand your concern for the area, however Ive been playing in that area for over 5 years and have never come in contact with anyone that seemed suspicious. But furthermore this is our country, not the illegals and Ill be damned if I let them keep me from land in my own country. Now if this were the sawtooth mountains it would be a different story[however I have camped overnight there within the past year and saw some crazy stuff]

When the shit hits the fan, dont be in front of the fan.

We appreciate your concern Arcane. Its a risk that airsofters take everywhere. Who is to say that some crazy wacko doesn't go into vanguard or tempe paintball and starts blasting people with his real steel? I'm taking a risk by doing anything anywhere at anytime. Yes I understand it is considerably higher in an area like where we are playing but if I die, at least I'll be able to say I died doing what I love.
Everybody get down!!! Their trying to kill me! YEOWWW!!!
