R-hop installation!
« on: September 30, 2012, 06:28:56 PM »
Ok I have decided to get the r-hop for my polar star. Now I need to know who has experience in the install of these things? I will pay to have it done just name the price and i will see if I can live with the deal. If you haven't done this before then dont post anything up here.

If you're willing to pay, call Slinkey. If you want to do it yourself, set aside a full day and just follow the instructions that HunterSeeker has on his forum. It's not impossible, but it takes practice. That's why you get 3 r-hops with your order.

You get three of them because of the different size chambers that inner barrels have.

red devil. that all depends on if you get the z-r-hop kit or the regular kits. the regular kits give you 3 of the same size r-hops, not the diff sized ones.
i can also do the mod for you, its the same thing i have done to a few of my own guns and to killerdragons guns and also armyra's masada.

there are people that do it to gbb pistols so i dont see why it couldnt be done.
you just have to be more carefull about cutting out the old nub because of how the wa m4 hop-up is made.

I can install an r-hop, or my own type of r-hop in anything except GBBR m4's the barrel design is different.
40 bucks a barrel includes bucking. so its a drop in upgrade

I believe if you are doing it on a gas riffle, you need the "Z" r-hop. They are designed to work better when they get cold.

For a normal gas rifle, yes.  Not necessarily for a P*.  Air coming from an HPA system isn't very cold because it's not pressurized liquid in a container like propane is.  An ERHop works nicely with the P* system.
