Anybody else see a trend?
« on: October 01, 2012, 10:04:26 PM »
The forums have gotten really quiet lately, except for the for sale posts.  Anybody else notice this, or am I just missing it lol?

agree with chino. start started and not much games are going on so people don't care about the forum as much anymore unless its those who are selling or buying stuff. then every now and then you get a post about a game.

I still frequent the forum often but lately there hasn't been much to talk about so that's my reason as to not posting.

I see a good amount of postings during the day. Some forums I've been on get 1 post a day. It is somewhat slow but all is well.

lol agreed, although I think I can chalk up some of the more dramatic posts I saw this summer to cabin fever.

This.

Happens in the winter on car enthusiast forums. Since it snows in most of the US, people put away their collector cars for the winter to keep the road salt off. On Airsoftarizona everyone puts away their guns in the summer because it's so damn hot. And then the tension starts to build.

I attribute the lack of interesting topics to the amount of drama seen earlier in the year lol.  Some of that stuff got down right ridiculous, so I can understand if some people are a little skiddish to post lol.

Airsoft arizona always slows over the summer. But at the same time, I believe the following holds true:

As the average maturity of the users decrease, so does the usefulness, depth and meaning of the average post. As the quality of the average post decreases, so does the want, drive, and reason to check the forums of all users.

Airsoft is getting more and more popular to lower and lower maturity groups.
