SWAT loadout help.
« on: October 09, 2012, 10:57:20 PM »
If anyone has ever made a SWAT load out and can help me with it, or have any ideas that would be great. I want one that is full black, I know some SWAT units use OD Green gear and some other colors besides that, but is anyone could help that would be great. I am not trying to do a impression I am trying to do something functional and intimidating. I currently have black BDUs and Black Ciras vest, and black knee pads.

I have seen some S.W.A.T. cqb guys at fightertown before. Other than that skill is more intimidating than looks.

If you try to buy a specific loadout without the skill or experience to use it, then all that gear becomes a burden instead of a benefit and other players instantly identify you as "the noob in the SWAT outfit".

You need to figure out what you need to bring to each individual game before you start gear shopping. Lets start with: Where do you play?

Fighter town and somtimes Vanguard, I went through 3 molle rigs, I've tryed a chest rig and I've found the ciras vest is works the best because it is heavy and it feels sturdy, if any one has seen  or has some ideas or pictures that would be great. I have found that the matrix half finger gloves work good, I need a drop leg holster that can house my 1911 nicely I just cannot use a belt holster because my rig has a needed pouch in the way and I run it that way. I need somthing that holsters in nicely and does not go up and down a lot. I also need a eye wear set up that I can aim down the sight and not fog up and offer protection I and thinking a iron face if that works good I would appreciate if you could tell me so

I rock a full black SWAT outfit. I really like it. I've not tried it out here in AZ but back in Utah i never got to hot and it actually worked well in snowy and green environments so long as i stuck to the shadows and didn't move much, but for the distance airsoft is played at unless your a pro sniper, camouflage is pointless, any slight movement will give you away. I do like having the SWAT loadout for indoor CQB games though :)

For my loadout i use a: (top to bottom)
- Mich 2000 helmet
- Baklava
- Voodoo tactical combat shirt
- Crossdraw vest with combat belt
- Hydration pack
- Hard knuckle half gloves
- Drop leg holster
- Combat knife
- Dump pouch
- Gas mask (optional) :P
- Emerson direct action pants
- Boots

I really like the all black look, I know alot of new guys start with the all black look but i tried to make mine more legit lol here are some pics for more visual aid to help you aim for something you like
