« on: October 16, 2012, 08:56:16 PM »
Shock & Awe hosting (Raptor & Lady Wolf co-leading)

Airsoft War Scenario: Ultimate Flag Warfare

Event Cost: $5 Per Player
(This covers water, but bring your own lunch.)

Scheduled for: Sunday October 28th, 2012

Meeting Time: 8AM

Meeting Location: Denny’s parking lot in Prescott

Mission Scenario Rules:
1.) Shock & Awe KIA Zones Apply to ALL Players.
2.) Shock & Awe Field Rules Apply to ALL Players.

Specific Scenario Briefing will take place in the field.

Additional Information:
If Raptor does not have an up to date airsoft waiver and airsoft field rules on file for the player then that player will NOT be allowed to play.
Raptor will have airsoft waivers and airsoft field rules available at the event to be signed.
For ALL players under the age of 18, be sure to bring your parents to sign the waiver and field rules, OR stop by the airsoft store in Prescott Valley, AZ to get the paperwork ahead of time.

If you are NOT a “Shock & Awe” team member I would recommend bringing tables and chairs because there is nowhere for you to get your gear ready other then in your vehicle OR in the dirt on the ground.
Tables and etc. provided by the event planner are ONLY for “Shock & Awe” team members to use.

Please come PREPARED for this event.

RSVP's are appreciated, but not required.

Sounds interesting.

Since I live down here in Chandler, would it be possible for you to either mail or email the waiver to me?  My parents are sure as hell not willing to drive up to Prescott just to sign a waiver :P

This should be ok, I'll have Raptor get something out to you.

Yes you do, it's not just for water.  Sorry my post gave that impression.  :-\

Hi Everybody, thanks for responding!
Because we like to play outdoors we have no FPS restrictions and we also have no restrictions on mag capacity, feel free to bring your hi-caps :)
$5 is the cost of the event regardless if you want water or not. In order to do these airsoft events I do have to close my business (I keep my airsoft store open 6 days a week) and I feel that $5 is not too much to ask.
If you need a airsoft waiver and field rules emailed to you then please send a email to Adam@TacticalAirsoftGuns.com requesting the info and I will reply with the attachments.
Hope to see you all there!!!

I hope there is a Minimum Engagement distance atleast in place for lacking a rule against High FPS's. I hope I am not the only person concerned about this as a Safety Hazard.

We call it a 'Bang Out' distance, it's in our Shock & Awe Field Rules.  Shoot Adam (aka Raptor, co-leader of Shock & Awe) a PM or email and he'll get you the info.  I'm not so sure off the top of my head and I don't want to mis-quote the distance.

I think my team might be interested in this. Will give you a solid confirmation later this week.

We would love to have you come up and play!

But seriously, you have no restrictions on Fps? I mean cause I can put red nozzle in my polar star and get just about 700fps. Nobody will be able to get close to me on the field.

My apologies guys, I did not realize you had guns shooting so fast. My team is a family friendly team with players as young as 10 years old. I will have to come up with FPS limits after discussing them with my team and I will get them posted up here ASAP.
Thanks for understanding.

Thanks KillerDrgn, I like to know what other peoples opinions are. Do you feel that 450 FPS with .2's is a good limit for AEG's? and how about 550 FPS with .2's as a limit for sniper rifles?
I also have call out distances. Any airsoft gun running from 300 to 400 FPS will have a 20 foot "BANG" call out distance. Any guns running over 400 FPS will have a 25 foot "BANG" call out distance.
If anyone has any other thoughts or ideas please feel free to post.
And Thanks :)
