I'm in Gilbert, south of the San Tan 202, and I haven't really held a non-plastic, current airsoft gun.... where would I go to get some helpful staff, nice choices, and somewhere I can really get a "feel" for the gun?

any suggestions would be great!

Well vanguard is the only place I know of currently that sells a wide variety of guns that you can pick up and try to get a feel for the weapon before you buy. the staff is helpful and will steer you in the direction you want to go in. They always try to take care of your problems if any occur rather early on, with discounts on repairs and such.

If anyone knows of any other place feel free to post it up.

go there to get a feel for the guns and maybe some questions but thats about it. i don even work there and i have been a greater help to people looking to buy a airsoft gun than the employ's were and vanguard is fairly overpriced but its not uncommon because it is a local store so they are forced to have higher prices

APD and Command Post are both AS dealers, you can google them for further info...

There is an Airsoft store in the Arizona mills mall. It's called HEROES and they have a good selection with helpful staff. It would be on the west side of the mall near the rain tree forest restaurant. South of it actually.

Do HEROES service what they sell?

I can get a lot of guns pretty cheaply. I don't stock things, but I can get a wide variety of guns. 99% of the time cheaper than Vanguard, APD, Heroes, etc.

Find me an in-store price on a gun locally, and I can probably beat it. But don't waste my time, I do this for fun, not as a big source of money. If you have cash in hand and want to buy something, I can help you or anyone out.

Hi StevetheGringo! I would love to invite you up to meet me and visit my store, unfortunately I am way up here in Prescott Valley, AZ. If you are ever in the area or just want to come up please feel free to stop by and you may also read over the 12 reasons I feel people should choose to purchase their airsoft gun(s) from my small business (this includes my very own 60 day gearbox warranty).

When Sector 9 does open (soon!), we'll have a legit airsoft store run by people who actually play airsoft. I know the owner and he's a stand-up guy.

Where will S9 be located?

So I've heard that vanguard is a horrible place to go to...  But thank you all for the suggestions.. Tha is to raptor for inviting me to your store... Apd seems legit, what about Tempe paintball? And honestly I've pretty much decided I'm going to look into getting a KWA KM4 SR 10... I want to hold one obviously or atleast something like it. Which of these places even has something in stock like that?

A little background as well... I went to gearbox and there was nothin on the walls, this was before there was talk of closing, the guy was nice, but nothing to hold really... I don't want to go into a store and be treated like a nub if you know what I mean...

With little mom & pop stores, don't expect a lot on the wall. And right now Tempe Paintball has very little to sell, it's just a fun place to actually play.
Come to a few games and politely ask if you could hold someone's gun. Most of us are okay with that.
