Y'know, the Light Rail has a stop at Apache & McClintock.. Just a block from Tempe Paintball. You don't need cammies to play there, and using a duffle bag will not cause any concern about your gear.
The train runs until 1am or later on Fridays.
$3.50 round-trip from as  far away as Glendale and 19th ave. Get the $3.50 all-day pass and you can use the busses too.

Just stressing that part there.  Some of G4S's security guards are a bit overzealous and if you cause an issue, they have no problem removing you from the light rail and calling Tempe/Phoenix police.

There's men's and ladie's bathrooms at TP to change in if you need. I'm seeing more and more players just in everyday clothes, as there's no advantage to any camo pattern there.

2nd'ing on street clothes, especially jeans. Somehow, I don't get welts with jeans, but get all marked up with BDU's.

The only advantage is that BDU pants generally don't rip out at the crotch if you make those stretchy "hero" attacks..
A bunch of us get together after the game for food at the local Denny's. Everyone's invited, but for some reason the people in matching-Multicam-w/full Battle Rattle don't come along? Guess it feels kinda silly to look like Rambo at the End Times Fashion Gala.....
Anyway, being a pedestrian sucks.. I feel 'ya. Here's an option.
