The legal age to buy knives in Arizona is 16. I could walk into a Wal-Mart, pay for 3 knives and walk out legally.

Learn something new everyday... Been Googling, looking for any legal restrictions. Couldn't find any. Seems it's just individual policies.

Well I know a minor cannot carry a "concealed weapon" and when my little brother was 16, he was stopped by the police for jaywalking, but also brought home for carrying a concealed weapon. Apparently he had stolen one of my pocket knives (over 3" blade) and was found with that. The officer stated that I could be charged with providing a weapon to a minor. Luckily since we honestly did not know any of this, no one was charged. Also, I know for a fact you must be 18 to obtain a concealed weapons permit since I had to wait to obtain mine.

So, to avoid and nasty circumstances with police again, I would have to say 18+ or adult present. Most of those knives are 3" or more and legally defined as a "deadly weapon".
