barrel shooting out of atp

So I'm shooting my ATP and the inner barrel comes shooting out. Wth?  Time for a new hopup rubber? Anyone else have this happen?

Lol, you should definately take the inner barrel and hopup out and make sure that its all assembled correctly.
I realize that while most people suck, there are still some genuine characters that exist out here. I'll show my appreciation by being genuine in return.

I bought my ATP second hand and that hasn't happened to me yet. I've never even heard of that happening before. Maybe you're SOL  :)

Let's get back on topic guys.

Check out all your parts like barrel clip and hop up. When I had mine it never did that. Go on kwausa.com and check the parts list and diagram, look at that u have and what's in the diagram. This will be your best bet of finding out what went wrong.

Got lanced....

So anyway..I double checked the parts I have against the parts on the parts lance. Nothing was missing. However the hop up rubber is a bit worn and it seems that the barrel seats inside the hop up rubber with a machined in lip running the circumference of the inserted tip. That's all I see that may not be holding it enough. I guess I'll start with the 5$ part and go from there.

ive never heard of an ATP doing that
my timberwolf did that once but it was a manufacturer defect
