Hell, why not bump that PSG-1 to 1000fps, Exarach? No MED's, right?

Yeah... Sorry for the smart-ass comment. I think the point that everyone is trying to get across is that maybe a certain fps shouldn't be allowed. That way even if someone COULD have their gun go to 500fps+ doesn't mean that someone SHOULD use it. That way people can't be ignorant towards the expectation of common sense.

It's the fact that people are wanting to just put resistance up and list any possible what ifs. But oh well. Anyways it's your guys' game so play as you like; just be sure to have fun.

The reason for the fps not being limited is because most people we have played with before either abuse the "BANG" rule, or just don't follow it. if you can get your gun to 1000+ fps, fine, just use common sense. We go out for fun, as well as some intense warfare. limited fps and the "BANG" rule are just to much restriction for the way we like to play.

Clearer rules are being figured out as we get a list of the game types we are going to do. Just be patient and we will have the rest of the rules, and other specifics posted.

Rules and FPS limits are set by organizers to reduce the possibility of injuries.  In my experience, No limits greatly enhance the chance of injury, no matter how well intended the person shooting meant to be. No one likes getting a tooth shot out or having to remove bb's from their body and it looks like most have expressed their own feelings on the topic.

Overall, you can host your game with your own rule set. Just don't be surprised when the only ones who show up are you and your friends....

This has been my experience in the past as well.
I have always liked the higher FPS limits, but you do need limits.
Generally if you stay in the range of 375fps with .25s for full autos, and 525fps for semi-auto/bolt sniper rifles, will prompt the most people to attend your event, as it allows most all guns to be used, while keeping the injuries to a minimum.
While most people will use their common sense and play safe regardless of the rules, there will always be a few that won't give a darn  and could careless if they hurt anyone (there are no rules so what I did was allowed)

I was going load some 6mm bbs into some shells for my 12Ga shotgun......

Now, now, Elliot... It has to fire airsoft BBs.

I'll see how I feel after Prescottia, but if I come, I'll bring a 12 gauge using some custom loads with 6mm BBs in em. Kinda like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_c53Hyw-MA

I'll be in ACU.
