No fps limit? Why would you allow that?

Had a feeling that I would get to use 60's Spiderman today. Just knew it.

So much fail in all this.

1. No FPS limit = injuries
2. No clear rules = chaos
3. Scheduling in conflict with Prescotistan = fail

so it's okay to run a super hot gun and getting shot from a super long distance? well guess that would be super awesome for those who have such guns but not so much for those who only shoot 370 fps and under.

fps should always be limit to make the game fun and fair. that's just my thinking, which i'm sure is for many others too, though but whoever is hosting the game i guess makes the rule.

bobzmoose what outdoor games have you played lately, they have little to no structure as it is. the fps having no limits may cause injury but everybody is going knows full well that it is going to hurt and should prepare as such, and its not an unfair system if everybody can prepare their guns to any level they want.

True, the last local one I went to was in January. Perhaps I should rephrase that. No rules = arguments. I think we can agree on that. Even loosely defined rules are better than none. Leaving it up to "good judgement" isn't advisable in a game where you shoot at each other. There definitely needs to be an FPS limit, if not for safety's sake, then for the pure and simple fact that injuries = lawsuits. Personal injury and civil suits in general can ruin a person's life.

BTW, when I say "injury" I'm not referring to a welt or a blood blister. I'm talking more like BBs getting lodged in the skin, potentially damaging fingers, fingernails, teeth, ect.

The idea of this game is pretty good.. Poor planning, lack of proper safety and care kinda ruins it. Even if you did change the rules to compensate for everybody's worries I wouldn't attend cause I feel you still wouldn't enforce them.
