KWC CO2 Desert Eagle
« on: April 20, 2004, 11:24:27 AM »
This may be old news to some:

Rumored to be semi and full auto, but I highly doubt that. I hope they make a metal slide and barrel for this.

I hate to ressurect(sp?) an old thing like this, but since I can't create topics, Deal with it. ;)

I recently bought one of these (The full metal one with the extended clip, actually, and yes, it's full auto) from the Jungletoy in Tempe, but it has a serious problem. Now, I'm not an expert at this (Ok, I'm a complete noob...) but from what I can tell, the inner barrel is not attached to anything. In other words, every time you fire the gun (more or less, you can't get off more than 4 shots) the front section of the inner barrel sticks to the back section, causing the mag to jam and create all kinds of annoying problems.  I'll try and get some pictures of it up tomorrow or something, but for now, it's my bedtime.

You sound just like everyone else who's bought the gun. Looks like you're sunk.

The easy solution is to be normal and never get a full auto Desert Eagle. That's the stupidest airsoft gun that's ever been made. I support JT, so I say trade it in for some other gun if you can. And if you can't, then sell it!

Problem solved  ;)

Edit: I want to help SOMEWHAT on this post. Everyone I've seen get this gun (a whole 2 people), had problems when I was around with it. Sounds like it's just an all around bad gun. Take it up to JT and see what the gun fixer uper guy can do.

I messed with one today at JT, and it's simply a sub-standard, high-powered, high-capacity, high-ROF pistol.  It has it's merits, but DEFINITELY not my style.

Ron and I discussed it, and both decided that the coolest feature was the 40-something round magazine capacity.

That said, the KJW all-metal M9 is more my stylee.  That's why I rock one, with 5 mags, biotches!
