Great time. Love the forward thinking by Victor to try out new scenarios and level of courtesy by Ziggy to seek out comments of improvement from players. I only wished that we could have given the marine forces the level of competition they came for. I did my best and had a blast doing it. Loved using alterative hit-and-run tactics against the marines, calling limb hits so at least the knew they were connecting, and shakings their hands after being flank and told that I was "quite a thorns in our saddles" as one put it. The marine players were ALL class acts, even when there were disagreements, which were virtually none. Thanks all.

Thanks HWG, had a good time.  Only feedback I have is to suggest next time you have a shortage to float up and 'opt in for volunteers'.  You never know who is going to bite.  While we would have preferred to play on the side as SV since we always play against them DH was ready to shrug our tops and go insurgent to help the entire group out.  We were just waiting to see if you guys asked for volunteers since we did not want to throw your balance off an figured we would have a tough time being in character with our use of formations and communication  :o

I'm with Ghoul on this one. All the "Chairsofters" who took up the free spots and didn't bother to show speaks volumes. The largest contingent was from Sierra Vista (4 hour drive) and Tucson (3 hour drive). I had a blast on the first two missions. Because the insurgent numbers were down the final mission was kind of a bust. Alpha and Bravo decided to duke it out in the streets between them. Pretty fun!

I'm up for another 1 1/2 hour drive from Gilbert for another game!

For those interested, I put together a video of that first segment of the day; another is coming when I have time to do it up right!

That will be in Act 2, since I forgot to turn on my camera for the encirclement mission!  I have tomorrow off so I will probably get after it then

Some of us had urgent family issues arise two days before the event.  I would encourage you all to think before you speak and lump everyone into one generalization.
