ASG franchi sas 12 trishot shotgun
« on: October 08, 2013, 07:23:47 PM »
so i made a little video review on the ASG trishot shotgun. It feels a little half assed but i felt it was neccessary as i feel that people underestimate the power of a spring shotgun. Another thing is there really arent that many options for a airsoft shotgun that does what a shotgun is supposed to do, Im looking at you G&P shotguns!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuVmCBbC7Iw

Nice to know DE is making zero effort to make the gun look anything like the real SAS12. Comparison!

Real:

DE:

Makes me wish someone would get in touch with Benelli and get the license for the M3 already.

Anyways, pretty good review. Try making a target holder, though. Yard sign stands (those used for small political signage, open houses, ect.) can be worked to the point where they can hang a paper target from them. There's dozens of places online that offer free to print targets. It'll make the accuracy tests that much better.

Looking forward to the review on the G&P shotguns. :)

yeah, i switch from paper to cardboard between every review but i decided on the box because well it traps all bbs that penetrate through the first layer (takes about 310 fps) and usually they dont exit the box. Sucks that all the spring shotguns are very unrealistic, basically just a mash up of a bunch of different shotguns. realistic shotty is gonna cost an arm and a leg. tokyo marui m870 is a good example but its a hell of a shotgun. 6rds per shot!

I'm not talking about the CA (Spring) ones.  I'm talking about the gas, shell ejecting ones.

Still doesn't beat the Maruzens or Tanaka's for realism.

They all break, I have a gas shotgun and it hurts at 30 feet, good welt prob around 360fps with .2g. Arms don't work though, got new shop ones custom made and I still have issues with the arm design.

For the record, I've never had the arms break on any of my Maruzens.

I didn't break mine, but your obviously smarter with it than most, by not doing the terminator style reload.
