I have a 1981 dated, military surplus Personal Armor System, Ground Troops (PASGT) vest for sale. Has some minor wear which is easily fixed if you know your way around sewing (I don't). The vest is size XL: 45 to 50 inch chest. It is made of ballistic nylon with 13 layers of aramid29 (kevlar) filler. Originally made as a fragmentation protective vest. THIS VEST WILL NOT STOP BULLETS OF ANY KIND!It works great for that late Cold War/ Desert Storm loadout you might be putting together, as this is what US troops were issued at the time.
