Airsoft Swap-Meet?
« on: November 11, 2013, 06:10:26 PM »
Hello Forums,

Title says it all, would anyone be interested in have another swap meet? Had a lot of fun at the last one and got some really good deals on random stuff. Any thoughts?

thanks,

I certainly wouldn't mind having one pretty soon, I've got plenty of stuff to contribute.

This sounds neat. We should pitch this idea to Henry, and see if he would be interested in hosting an event like this at Fightertown.
I realize that while most people suck, there are still some genuine characters that exist out here. I'll show my appreciation by being genuine in return.
Love the sport.

The nice thing is that we have two Central Phoenix locations that can host both. Sector9 and Command Post are both DECENTLY centrally located (i.e. not an hour drive). Sector9 hosted the previous swap meet in their parking lot and I'm sure Luis wouldn't object to it.

On a personal note, missed the last one and still kicking myself for it. This is honestly a great idea for the old guys that have way too much stuff and the new guys that new a whole set up. A huge win-win. I hope it happens soon.

Fightertown hands down. Has more room and tables and a game could be running at the same time.

When fightertown is in full swing there isn't much room in the parking lot. And the tables that are there will more than likely be used to hold gear for players on the field. All around I say sector9 will be the best spot and I know Luis is more than happy to accommodate this venture.

Fightertown does have room even in full swing. I would like to see this at a game venue instead of a store location.

We all don't live in chandler or tempe as well.....

Which is why it would be a better idea to hold it somewhere in the middle, which Sector 9 is as close to the middle and airsoft friendly as you can get.

Then again, we can always have it at Encanto Park, like Moon said.

Personal Opinion - Don't want to go sit outside of S9 for any length of time.
Personal Opinion - Fighter town is in the hat of phoenix/not really easy.

Do both.
And one at Tempe airsoft if they will allow.

Or you know.....sell on the forum.

IDK.

Do we want to hang out and watch movies and chill, or do we want to show up and sell?

I don't think anyone will be selling AND playing, which would make FT moot, though would be useful to let a person try out something before buy.

If you plan on leaving your booth to go play, let me know, I will back my truck in LOL

Otherwise, why are we fighting on this>?

Another swapmeet would be a fun/good idea.

What about this, 2nd week in December go to Tempe on a Sat morning or something like that and the 3rd week go to FT or vice versa that way everyone can have their cake and eat it to. Unless I get to it first then all you motherfuckers are hungry.
