I'd like to lower the FPS on my Echo1 MRF-C
« on: May 08, 2014, 08:04:41 PM »
So I just bought an Echo1 MRF-C only to find out that the indoor field that's ten minutes from where I work won't allow anything above 330 fps. I'm going to chrono it tonight but the manufacturer adverts 400 fps so I'm guessing I'm going to be above.

I'm pretty new to this stuff but it seems like I should be able to replace the spring with a lighter one to get a lower FPS or even buy a new one, cut off a little and stretch it out to the same length.

Anyone have any thoughts or insights on this?

Put an m-110 spring in it and you should be ready to go.
