I have the vfc scar-l and plan on upgrading the internals in the next few weeks to shimmer gears and changing out the o - rings and such. But while I'm at it I want to replace the trigger switch removing full auto and limiting it to semi and burst instead. What would be the best trigger option to do that?

Specter-fet is personal favorite but the chimera I have heard is a great mosfet. If you don't need the burst you could simply modify the selector to not fully disengage and lock it to safe and semi only without a programmable mosfet.

I did that to my dmr but this is my primary. I want the ability to do more than semi but I will fire to much with full auto simply providing covering fire.
I'll check those two out thanks!

High amperage 7.4v lipo and high torque motor is what you are looking for.
Fast trigger response, and the upper ROF limit will be slow enough to provide sustained covering fire. Its my recipe for my squad autos.
