Wednesday, January 14, 2015, I will be swearing in to the world's finest Navy! I've been working on my enlistment since about August, and it's finally happening! If all goes well, I'll be working as a Nuclear Propulsion Engineer, and I'll be headed for Navy Boot Camp in Great Lakes, Illinois this June!

So, yeah.

Congrats on the Nuke qualifying. My wife was a Navy reactor operator. Nuke MT or ET are tough programs, one of the toughest in the world. Stick with it, it's worth the payoff. Both in the service and post civi life.

But fer reals, congrats man. Don't be stupid with your money. Always be looking at the next step, career wise, and personal development wise. Don't get married, don't buy a car off base, don't get married, save your money, don't get married, don't get sucked into hanging out with the guys that hate the military and complain, don't get married, find hobbies that keep you active, don't get married, travel, don't get married.
