good luck. in basic dont volunteer to carry the SAW, you will regret it. that is right the drill sargeant is always right. even if he's wrong, he's right.

Have fun man! I have had tons of fun up to this point and I can only see it getting better. Dont know anyone that went thru jackson tho! And as far as I know its SOP that the smallest guy gets the SAW! Are you goin active or reserve? Whichever, I hope basic goes well (it shouldnt be a problem) and that you enjoy your career!

I'm sure you will do just fine, but good luck anyways!  Keep your head down, tall boys and rotar blades don't mix well.
If they send you to war and don't outfit you with good gear, drop us a line. We will set up a gear whore fund for ya.
