Technically speaking, you didn't cover Gilbert. But I hate the place anyways, so I voted Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, AJ.

wouldn't Ahwatukee be more in line with being included with tempe and chandler?
I think the perception of people is "Phoenix" is more downtownish, and while Ahwatukee is indeed Phoenix, it isn't that close to Phoenix at all comparatively.
Just an observation

Gotta draw the line somewhere.

It is said that on the eve of battle, Dienekes was told that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun.  \"Good,\" Dienekes laughed, \"then we\'ll have our battle in the shade.\"

To tell you the truth, Ahwatukee is only about 10 minutes or less from downtown phoenix...

Depends on where in Ahwatukee you are. I live about 45 minutes from downtown.

I understand that the line has to be drawn somewhere, and believe me,I know how far Ahwatukee is from downtown Phoenix.
I was simply making the observation that Ahwatukee starts at Guadalupe and extends down to Pecos on the West side of I-10. This is actually south of Tempe by quite a bit since Tempe (at the North West corner) starts from 48th street and the river.

Geographically yes, but since it is technically in the Phoenix City limits I kept it in that group.  This city is messed up with the way township lines are drawn.  Glendale for example goes all the way up north almost to Deer Valley so it could fall into the west side and north side at the same time.  I also left out a bunch of towns like Maricopa, Casa Grande, Gila Bend, etc, etc.
