Well, this could have been covered by a search, as I have personally covered it MYSELF in no less that 3 threads, but that's not going to help you is it?
SO, on the the business at hand.
I own both the ESS Profile NVG (the best ESS goggle), and the Bolle T800 (or "X800T"). I do not wear glasses, but I wear sunglasses (Oakley Fives, and Bolle Sidney's) under them from time to time without any interference. If your glasses are a metal wire frame, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
As far as contacts, I cannot help you there. I would recommend trying either of the aforementioned goggles with your existing glasses. They both are compatible with RX inserts, and both will work with glasses. If you DO decide to go with contacts, you still have a great pair of goggles. And theres still the option of the inserts.
And while we're on the subject of ESS, let me give a little spiel...
Alot of people know the ESS Profile NVG are badass. They see the Land Ops or similar goggle and think they are the same brand as the NVG, and will be just as good but 30 bucks cheaper. NOT TRUE! The NVG is the most badass of the ESS line so far, and it's features prove it. Some things that the NVG has that the land ops do NOT are:
-all-rubber frame, with no foam. Easier to clean.
-2.8mm thick lens, compared to the 2.4mm of the Striker series (Land Ops, etc), and the 2.2mm of the T800.
-low-profile that will not interfere with any helmet.
The Striker series is nice, but not as good as the Profile NVG. I wrote a complete review in the Reviews section that sums up the features of the Profile NVG, and briefly compares it to the T800.
