of course I read all of these and I see no local companies only online companies. So I'm adding Gearbox the best place in phoenix for guns, gear, ammo,   repair and help for those who are just starting out in Airsoft.

Gearbox (a.k.a. Jungle Toy)      McClintock and Southern in Tempe, AZ

Optactical.com
I've placed 2 orders with them so far and the customer service is top notch. They E-mail you an order
confirmation, order status and the tracking numbers. They usually ship the same day as you place the
order and don't charge huge shipping charges. They have a great selection of brands and their prices
seem to be right on track as well.

Yup...Jon and Kat are good people, and if I weren't in the business, I'd buy from them.

Once again, never had a problem, and when I ordered something out of stock(over a holiday), they called me and made sure to get me what I needed and gave me free upgrade to 3day shipping for the inconviniance.

Can't say enough about these rifles, better than the HK416 at 1/3rd the price, already have one 10.5" SBR and will have a 2nd 16" on the way soon!

For those that are in the market for real-steel parts, I have to recommend Area 51 Tactical (http://www.a51tactical.com).  AMAZING customer service.  They sent me the wrong stock, so rather than trouble me with shipping it back (although they did offer that option), they instead sent me a "gently used" (read: You can't tell it was ever put on a rifle, it just didn't have ALL of the hardware) stock that was the correct one, and allowed me to keep the incorrect one as well, because of the trouble.  Also, flat rate shipping, good turnaround, and decent prices.  They're very friendly to deal with.  If they don't normally carry what you're looking for, they're more than happy to get it for you.  You can't really go wrong. :)

I'd like to shower Tim Weaver and Practical Tactical with praise, he really does go above and beyond for his customers. The service is quick and any customer service issues you may have gets addressed even quicker, he is just that kind of guy.  :D

I'm backing up the guys at Gearbox.  Since I'm a newcomer to airsoft, I've been educated and instructed in the various aspects of the sport.  They helped me check over my Echo 1 M4 (yes I'm excited about my first gun) and made sure everything was firing nicely.

Gearbox comes highly recommended!

Doc, Kimber is probably the best out there right now, with Sig in second. Don't count out the Hi-Point line, they shoot very well for their price, and if all you want it for is home protection, they're pretty nice.
