After being called a fag by harley, & then seeing him backed up by everyone, yes I got defensive. Wouldnt you Joe? Harley does not know me personally, & made a very personal comment about me. It doesnt really suprise me, considering I had a different opinion then one of you, & those that have disagreed have been outcasts afterward. Its nice to know that an "open" forum for airsoft is being converted into a popularity contest. As stated in the other thread, I'll no longer post opinion anymore, but I see you people will still continue to insult & instigate me. All I've heard is bad things about this forum, starting to see why...

I never called you a "fag", but I think I did hit a nerve there.  The fact is that I don't know jack about you except from what you've disclosed to us.  So it's up to you as to what opinion we form about you based on what you tell us.

Ok, I would like to point a few things out to you Harley.  Just because I am not 18 or older DOES NOT mean that I am not entitled to my own damned opinions.  Second, do you really get your kicks screaming at minors who have opinions and want to voice them on a PUBLIC forum?  I honestly don't care what your importance to the forums are, I'm still not going to take **** from a 43 year old man who believes that anyone on the other end of the spectrum is wrong and should keep their opinions to themselves.

Now, when you said that I am a 16 year old who doesn't know anything about life, did you think about what my rebuttle would be?  When I turn 18, to I INSTANTLY learn things about life?  I beg to differ....  Also, I have traveled all over the world, and have gained experiences that most adults have not had.

For example, I have seen what the illegal aliens from Mexico are fleeing from, and it gives me pity to know why they are coming here.  This was one of the things I said in a past topic about Border problems.  The point being that I DO have knowledge or life, and what goes on.  Granted, I may not have to do my taxes yet, but I sure as hell know about life itself.

Now why are you (along with 95% of the Airsoft Arizona population) so stuck on verbally attacking and insulting those who do not share the same opinions and views on things as you do?  Do you think that your way is the only way?  Because there is a reason we, for example, have 2 political parties.  It is so that both sides are seen and brought into clear view.  Once both views are present, that is when the debating and ill spoken words of the opposing side should be had.

After my multiple run-ins with you on the forums, Harley, I fear that joining AA once I get a sponser or turn 18 is going to be extremely difficult (not to mention I would have to take a lot of **** at AA games from anyone who didn't like what I wrote on AA).  Now is this really what you wan't to do to all of the people who voice opinions other than those you have?  I doubt it...

And I wouldn't mind seeing this EXACT same thing (.50 cal ban) being debated on a non biased forum, where people from both sides of the playing field are present.  Until both sides can share their views without being attacked, it is not a true debate, nor ligitimate arguement.

Thank you.

I didn't say you were wrong, I said come back when you have some EXPERIENCE and then you can debate me on issues you know very little about.

And as far as the Mexican thing goes, if you feel so badly for them then open your house to them and let them stay there.  Let the Mexican people revolt against their corrupt governement and take control of the situation.  Mexico is not a poor country by far.  The money is just in the wrong hands.  So why should the citizens of the US have to deal with their plight?  Did Mexico come to our aid anytime in the past?  Show me once when they did.

I'm sure AA will be here long after the two of you have disapeared into the sunset.  Shall I shed a tear for you now?

Au contrair (i dont know how that is spelled), I'm sure the two of us will be here long after YOU have disapeared into the sunset.  Some people are going to have to keep AA going after you other guys are to old to airsoft, and that is where we step in.  And do you realize that right there, you just singlehandedly singled out the 2 people who have a different opinion that yours?  Yea.... thats exactly what the US was founded on.  Freedom of speech and the right to single out anyone who doesn't agree with you.

I'm not stopping anyone from voicing their opinions.  But in a debate it's necessary for all those involved to at least KNOW what their talking about.  That rules you out.

I am extremely suprised that the mods. of AA havn't stepped in to do something about this.  All of these verbal, violent battles and prejudice remarks...

Ah, hell.  Leave Paco alone.  He's doing a fine job, as long as he keeps it even handed.

Just let it play out.

And let's all just love each other, and I'm not talkin in the butt humpin kind of way.  Huh guys?

We can all agree to disagree without the hatred.

hahah, this was originally a .50cal weapons ban topic.  now its a gay marriage/gay rights debate.  Whatever happened to "this topic has drifted from its original purpose and will now be closed."  I say we let it die!

Here's a good one, should gays be allowed to own .50 cals?

Actually, I think this thread has gone on long enough.

M2 .50 cal on top of a Hummer.  That's it for me.  I have drooled over several M82A1 rifles at various locations and times.
