I voted noob-cannon personaly but all forms of noob (newb, noob, nub, nublet, newbs) when used "incorrectly" are BS.

Newbie (and forms): This isnt really BS if used properly.. it just means that someone is new to something and shouldnt really be used as a put down. However it is used as such and that makes it annoying.

Noob-cannon: This is BS because more often then not the weapon that is labeled noob-cannon (also refered to as b!#$& weapon) is only labeled as such because they where killed more then 2 times in a row with it by the same person.. or if its just a populare gun.

Spawn-campers: They are just gay.. WHEN they are actually spawn camping. Sitting out side of a spawn far enough back so the spawner has time to get in and think about how he is going to get out this time isnt spawn camping... its just camping

Nade-Spamemr: only really applies to some games that have ways to use unlimited amount of nades. This gets annoying so i think its only a BS term on games with limited ammounts of nades.

Other things that should be on the list are

Camping-snipers: Unless your a rush sniper (some times i play this cause its fun) then you are going to pick a good spot and keep it as long as you can. That is part of the role of sniper so this becomes annoying too.

Spray & prayer: term given to some one believed to have no skill in a game and only manages to get kills by blindly spraying and praying a target. This is also BS most of the time and if it isnt who cares he killed you so figure a way to get around it.

<insert gun name> - Whore: .. annoying term given to a person that prefers to use a single gun and rather not use anything else simply cause he is good with it.

Sorry its another long boring day at work.

i voted camper.  i used to spend way too much time on TFC and was rather good at sniper if i do say so mycself.  and there was nothing more annoying then being flamed for doing my job very well.  depending on if there was an enemy sniper i had to be weiry of and the amount of people coming out of the enemy base in a given time, i could kill everything that came threw if i had the oppertunity to give my gun the about 3 seconds it needed to "charge".  so i would catch alot of crap for that and i always didnt like being ostrisied for it.  but then again, they were the ones being turned into little gibbs so who am i to complain.

I love when people on CS say the word "Nub", they say it with a hard "u" like the bump.

After playing Ultima Online, Quake 1 and 2, UT, UT2k3/4, and a few more I can't stand to hear the newbie coments.

First off, I came from the Quake 1 days where 'newbie' was used not as an insult, but as a question. Hell my first 3 hours on Quake 1 where spent with a clan of guys teaching me the game.

Now a few years later, newbie, noobie, noob are insults used by 14 year old Counter-Strike players. Well along with there rants on gays, your mother and father and the like. Sorry but an old gamer like myself does miss the days where online play was fun, and not being a babysitter.

Though the internet rocks, I hate how it has diminished the vocabulary of people.  Every once in a while, I'm suck proof-reading English essays for my teacher, and I commonly see "u" replacing "you".  Then there's the lack of complete sentences or sentences without punctuation.  It's become purely abismal.

Oh yeah, and the whole 1337 thing is over.  I hate when somebody replaces letters with numbers.

y34h 17 g37s 4nn0y1ng. i have noticed that 14 year olds get some serious balls talking trash online(i heard a story where the guy actually knew who the kid was, but the kid didnt know who he was via CS built in voicechat). That is why i stopped playing alot of online games. I stick to playing with clan memberssquad mates.

14 year olds! Man, I have seen (and I'm not joking, becasue they were using the voice mod and you could hear them, and the kid told me how old he was) 7 year old kids using every varient of the F word on CS. How sick is that!? Who lets their 7 year old kid play CS online anyways? [:O]

I can't stand when people complain about certain things in every online shooter that I play. I was going to vent about how much I dislike these different terms/labels and how BS they are, but I wanted to know if anyone else here has the same feelings as me and I want to know which term you hate hearing the most.

So,
Which of the following gaming terms do you think is the biggest load of BS? (Please post any comments on the results page)
