sorry we lied to saudi arabia to get american bases on soil where we dont belong.

sorry most americans look at all europeans as english, or french, or spanish, or german, and treat them as their seperate countries, but reffer to all middle easterners, no matter the country, as simply "arabs". that is, when they arent inventing new expletives to describe them.

sorry we give monetary and military support to israel so they can fire missiles into civilian areas and opress the palestinean people.

sorry we freeze the assests of other mmiddle east areas that attempt to help out palestine by calling them "terrorists" no matter what beliefs they hold.

now... bring to justice those responsible? which is why, while its been shown that it was done under orders, only a couple of the soldiers ordered to do so have been prosecuted, but no commanders...

and air our dirty laundry? it was hidden, and stayed hidden, until some soldiers aired it becuase of guilt. and the gov is STILL trying to hide as much as possible.

these were not prisoners of war. abu ghraib was one hundred percent captives taken by policing forces, believed to maybe be involved in the insurrgency, or arrested for crimes. those captured in arms against coalition forces were kept elsewhere.

and i know several americans who had the same though as me. my gawd, so much for saying we were better than them. and the majority of people ive talked too (and the majority of my friends are conservative) cared a hell of a lot.

This is not to say that Abu Ghraib was right, merely that it pales in comparison with what Arabs have done to each other. The point is, we don't demand apologies from them, yet they do from us, and there whole system is far more screwed up than ours.

hey ice, hows about you attack my positions, and not me? did i say anything that was wrong or innacurate?

(native arizonan, which by the way, started as one of the most liberal states. in fact, was denied statehood for a year becuase of liberal items in the state constitution, which were removed for statehood, and then, in the next general election, voted back in by over 80 percent of the pop. and tell the californians to stop moving here.)

I believe Wolverine was expressing HIS opinion. Its funny how everytime someone here in the majority makes a reply to one of the minority's posts that is no longer their opinion its an attack. We all need to realize that EVERYONE is entitled to there opinions not just a select few. I am not saying that you should attack the person, but the ideas.........thats what our country is all about.

Oppress the palestinian people? You know how many suicide bombing happen there solely by Palestinians? You know how many people, Palestinians and Israelis, would die each day as a result of inaction if 90% of the suicide bombers weren't caught on time by Israeli forces? Yeah, we had 9/ll but they have stuff like that on a smaller scale every day. Civilian casulties happen, and I'm not saying that Israel is perfect in picking all of their targets, but they sure as heck have a right to fight back. By the way, most of those missiles go to so-called "civilian targets" because the terrorists don't have the balls to stand up and fight, instead they just kill helpless women and children and then go hide among them. What we should do is take the leash off Israel and let them fight terrorism in their own country.

well im a 6th generation arizonan on one side of my family and that whole side (excluding no one) is highly conservative. anyway i know a guy who used to travel to israel all the time and the last time he went, his favorite hotel had been completely destroyed about a week and a half before by a suicide bomber. Apperently the reason the bomber had chosen that as his target was that it was common knowledge that americans liked to stay there. so i have appsolutly no remorse for what we have done to the west bank.

delta, yeah, guerilla warfare is all they have left. they are in civillian areas because THATS WHERE THEY LIVE. they ARE civillians. they do the suicide bombs BECUASE of the isreali oppression.
